2007 Commercial Rotary Press Survey

There are 9 sets increment of commercial rotary presses in 2007, and settle in three areas which are the most concentrated areas for commercial rotary press in mainland China: Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong.

It is a smooth development year of commercial rotary press business. So far, there are 89 sets of new commercial rotary press installed in mainland China. Chart 1 shows the installation situation of commercial rotary press in mainland China over years; there are 52 companies owning new commercial rotary press, please see chart 2. Each company has 1.7 sets press on the average. The growth rate of new commercial rotary press installation is 11.25% in mainland China 2007.

After we investigate the companies that acquired 9 new presses, we can see:
They settle in three areas which are the most concentrated areas for commercial rotary press in mainland China: Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong.
Among the 9 sets increment, 6 presses are bought by the companies which already have 2 or more than 2 brand new commercial rotary presses; 1 press is bought by a company that already have one; and only two companies acquire commercial rotary press as its first time.
Among the 9 sets increment, 5 sets are bought by foreign-funded companies; 4 sets are bought by private companies.
According to the cut size, 4 sets are 578mm, 4 sets are 598mm, only one set is 546mm.
