2008 CTP in China Survey(new)

As of September 30th, 2008, the installation number of CTP in China is 1417 sets, annual increment is 429 sets.
Compared to last year, this year’s CTP market did not change a lot. The price of plate and equipment has a direct impaction on CTP’ s installation, although it has a few decline, but very steady, no big surprise. So CTP market in China this year is a "moderate" market.

The development pace is steady
As we know, the CTP installation in Taiwan is about 280, and Hong Kong and Macao is 150, according to our statistics (1417 in Mainland),we could know that the existing CTP installation total number is near 1850. There are about 90,000 printing enterprises, 1417 sets CTP only account 1.5%. But those enterprises which own CTP are almost large-scale enterprises. According to our research, 68.7% of the enterprises think “the price of plate materials is too expensive” is the main reason that impact CTP’ s usage rates.
